5 Term (January Start) A level at Rochester College

Teaching0096a min

Five term A level courses commence in January and end in June the following year.

International students who finish their academic year in December overseas can move immediately onto these courses and UK year 12, avoiding the need to wait until the following September to start a two year course. For students with weaker language skills, the first two terms can also be used to prepare more intensively for IELTS enabling them to focus more on academic subjects from September.

Fast track A level studies

RIC’s short accelerated A level programmes allow students to accelerate their studies, only needing to study for five terms and working cohesively with international study programmes. Year 1 (AS level) work is condensed into 2 terms, allowing for the shorter course length which benefits many students. A Level subjects on offer include a range of maths and science, English Literature, social sciences, humanities, visual arts, performing arts, and a selection of language subjects.
